Emergency Brake Retracting Spring

Are you talking about the springs on the back of the backing plate that goes on before each arm?

The spring on the back or the rear backing plate that's on the emergency brake actuating arm. I have tried to do this in connection with doing a complete brake rebuilding job.

Go to search and put in E brake return springs again
I'd pull it up , but not sure how. It was posted in may this year. Pics of right and left.

It's a booger to put on. I've seen some special hooks ect, and read of some tips, but don't know from where.

I just put a string around it and pull. Very easy.

Yep string worked great!!

I just used coat hanger wire with a small hook bent on the end.
