hello- i am beginner but can't find a diagr which relates the 'wiper' positons [on off bat dim mag] to the terminals on the back of the switch [bright mag coil bat tail], can anyone point me to a diagram or tell me? i'm using a texas t . i could remove the switch and figure out the relation between wiper postion and back terminals with an ohm meter but would rasther find a diagram. thank you
 
Start by looking at the back of the switch it will have the location of each wire embossed in the back. If you have not removed the switch, which it sounds like, it's not that hard. Chances are if the embossed words are no longer readable the back is warped and no longer will make good contact anyway.

The terminal marked ground is unused.
