Hi - I am swapping out my 6 volt gen for a 6 volt alt - Can I wire it to the solenoid? See pic - black wire goes to battery - can I just have alt wired to solenoid?
The solenoid-end of that black cable (and it's solenoid connection point) is the same thing (electrically/potential) as the battery post that it is connected to. DD
