Electric Wipers

I would not recommend a generic 6v motor like those available from Model A suppliers. I tried one and replaced it with the revitalized vacuum. Why? well it has a very small sweep area so you don't get the full picture. Next it has no park provision so the blade stays in the narrow sweep area. Lastly it uses the lousy old wiper blades who move off the windshield in gusty conditions (which is equivalent to the pause). If I still had the car and wanted an improvement, I'd install a 6v to 12v convertor somewhere and run the power to the Newport.

Instead of stopping acceleration to get rid of the pause, I would reach up and shut the vacuum off since it seemed to always stop on the sweep. It would return OK after which I turned it on again. (My) Kids are spoiled by modern technology and don't appreciate work arounds.
