Considering the installation of an electric wiper on my 1930 CCPU that I recently converted to 12 volt. I do not want make alterations as the CCPU is now set up for a vacuum wiper unit.

Can an "original" electric wiper for 1930 Model A's be rewired from a 6 volt to a 12 volt wiper? If so, who should I contact about this?

If you wish to make no alterations you have a problem. The windshield mounting holes are different for vacuum and electric wipers. An original electric will not fit a frame punched for the vac wiper.

Mike----what is the difference? I have a 29 coup and am looking for a wiper to fill the holes. I sure wouldn't want to spend the price and end up with the wrong part.

Thanks Mike and Marco for the information! I may now rethink about going electric, and keep a good vacuum wiper.
 
If I'm reading this right 29s are electric----30s can be either but 31s are vacuum --------or either vacuum or elc.
