Electric wiper installation 29 coupe

I'm installing my restored Heinz wiper and it seems to close to the windshield as the wiper blade binds up against the wiper housing. It seems like the wiper is sagging down. Also, in running the wiring I do not see a hole where the wiring can drop down and connect to the wiper connector. Thanks

The closed car wipers fasten to the outside top of the windshield frame so that the windshield can be opened for ventilation. The coupes had a single power wire that ran from the terminal box over to the right side cowl under the tank and then up through the A pillar. At the top of the pillar it exits around the garnish molding and then runs along the header channel part of the windshield hinge where the header trim panel fits. There was an oblong hole in the hinge very near the wiper that allowed the wire to pass through into the channel above the windshield and connect to the wiper with the special connector.

The new replacement hinges and windshield frames likely have no holes for the wiper so they have to be drilled and cut to match the original parts. This is not an easy task without the original parts to copy.
