Electric Fuel Pump Fuse

Hi Guys,
My 1936 car came with an 6 volt electric fuel pump and no fuse. Any suggestions on FUSE AMPERAGE?

i would remove the electric fuel pump. i think it couses more truble then good,

Can you look at the pump and see what amperage it is?? I would guess that a 15 amp would do.

If the pump nameplate gives the power consumption in Watts, divide by voltage, in this case 6, to get amps required and select fuse accordingly. Good luck.

Can you power it and put a detector on it to determine it's draw, you could then bump up the fuse amp just a bit or double check your wire gauge and fuse according to that.
