Edelbrock 94

I am interested in Barners experience with these new Edelbrock 94's. I tried a Holley 390 cfm carb on my 38 Pickup. Alcohol ruined it, Holley has no rebuild kits for Gasahol! Since Florida went Gasahol state wide I have managed to put 160 miles on my 38, after the third try I now have Teflon hose with alcohol proof fuel pump and the only thing stopping me is carbs.
Thanks ahead for your help!

How did gasohol ruin your 390? Any why do you think a 94 will fare any better?
Gasohol (10%) is common in most/all states and has been for awhile, and any alcohol related damage is normally mechanical fuel pump diaphragms and cheap fuel hose.

j,
Mixed reviews on the Edelbrock 94's. I know they do not use leather acc
pumps. The big issue I have HEARD is the power valves. I've beaten that issue to
death in the past.
We old timers still build 'em vintage ,"52 Henry, Ken ct and moi.

There power valves are not that great, got one for my 94 the valve leaked right away as well as the gasket. this was about 5 min. on engine running. Laurie

There you go... It seems to me that their powervalves and pumps aren't quite up to the task. They're quite cheesy, in fact.
