Edelbrock 94 carb

I have an ad from Edelbrock showing the fairly new 94 carb, seems most things I find about it are geared to run 2 or 3 on a V8.

I'm interested in running one in my B. Just one, on a Scalded Dog intake. The one with a provision for heat built into the intake for better cold starts.

Anyone know if this thing will tune single as well as the old Holleys?
I like having that two barrel for climbing the winding hills around here around the creeks. Should be lots of fun.

I've been running a new Edelbrock 94 for a couple years. Runs good with a nice idle and throttle response. Only thing I have found different from the Holley is the two idle adjustment screws make little difference when screwed in or out. I've taken it apart and cleaned/inspected everything but no change. No matter - it does idle fine @ 450 rpm.

Using a Bubba mechanical advance distributor which is a nice match. The Edelbrock has no mixed vacuum port for use with the original distributer.

Edelbrock should make primary and secondary 94's. For a single carb setup, just use a primary 94.
