BILL WILLIAMSON Well-known member Jan 15, 2016 #3 So, is it just 1 or 2 "snap" rings, in a groove inside the piston? Bill W.
Bob Bidonde Well-known member Jan 15, 2016 #4 The standard Ford piston pin lock was a single wire lock ring at mid-span of the pin. The double lock rings at the ends of the pin are aftermarket replacements.
