Early roadrace..

Did you notice the winner (Fred Frame) was wearing a shirt and tie?
Yes, those were the days!

Fredrick William "Fred" Frame (June 3, 1894 – April 25, 1962) was an American race car driver. One of the leading AAA Championship Car drivers of the late 1920s and early 1930s, Frame is best remembered for his victory at the 1932 Indianapolis 500.

It looks like the field was 13 Fords, 2 Chevrolets, a Plymouth, and a Dodge. The top 7 places were taken by Fords. I think those guys knew something!.

Skinny tires and do you suppose the had a choice of soft, medium or hard compounds?

I always got the hard Linder recaps, cheap and easy to smoke.

Even with the transverse springs the cars dont seem to have much body roll in the corners
