early plug wire sets

I have a 36 lb 221 ci. I'm changing back to an early dist. (scrapping the mallory) Any body know who sells early plug wires and dist. caps. Also what the difference between the plug wire orientation from 32-36 and 37-41 dist. does it change the firing order. Or is the rotor different.

The distributor for 32 - 36 is in fact different than the 37 -41. It requires different points, inner terminal plates and rotor. The firing order remains the same 1932 through '48.
You may use a distributor from 37 - 41 on your '36 but be advised, you will need the respective points, terminal plates and rotor.

You can get everything you need from Dennis Carpenter.

Be advised, most of your aftermarket suppliers are selling ignition parts from who knows where. best to get them from someone like Bubba who tests them, and knows which ones work and don't.

Thanks for the offer but I have one, going to disassemble it and clean it up. any body have the instructions to set it up with out a distributor machine. I found the instruction to set up a two bolt, it is probably the same. I will try to reuse the original ford points Dennis Carpenter has a coil block off plate so you can use a standard 12 volt coil, instead of the helmet, can Skip rewind a 6 volt into a 12 volt, I would rather run the stock one

I used newer wires, in my 36. they fit into the conduits , I think they where7 mm. I got them at Napa. I has a stock pile of the ends that fit into the stock caps
