I have an Early cast iron Model A Mallory distributor. Is there a source for caps and rotor?

YA-11A? I run one of those on my Roadster. Works pretty well.

All my spare parts I've got from here, HAMB, or eBay. Post up on the wanted section here.

The trouble with Ebay-Mallory is that its sometimes difficult to get a "complete" Mallory. You get below $160 and its very likely incomplete - and parts are not reproduced and hard to find out of Ebay.

I won't say they're readily found at the flea markets, but they're there.

Renner is starting to go in that direction - he's got Model B distributor covered - but of course we're talking the Model B - which is perfectly serviceable. That is when it works. But its intricate and tends to get "hung" with the slightest corrosion or even burr on the parts.

He sent me the entire center "spindle/active element" for a Model B - and its PERFECT. At least in my hands.

I think the tendency is to go "electronic." But that has it's own price of entry.

If like the one in post 2 - No - You also need a second set of points. I've got a similar (earlier with ability to use pop out switch) one and am making the point blocks to use the Mallory flathead contacts. I need to take the distributor with me to the Pomona swap meet and try to find a cap and rotor. The old big condensors are plentiful NOS on fleabay.
BTW the advance lever does not connect to the manual one on the steering column.
