Early ford fender skirt identification

Can someone give me a quick identification on fender skirts for fords from 35-40 along with 40 mercury. I was told that they have been making reproductions since the 50s and would like to know the difference between them. If i could see some pictures of the different types of skirts that would be great thanks.

Here's some '40 (OEM) skirts. The wires go within the rubber...

For the earlier style, look for the chrome hex nut on the outside top. This nut gets rotated to lock the skirt to the fender.

The picture that was posted is original and I have seen some that dont have the little flare at the bottom front part of the skirt. Does this mean they are older reproductions or a different year.
