Early Connect rod X

I can´t find some info on the early X-Rod , i knew it was used from begining production , in 1927 . But when are the changed to the second style.?

My engine has them, Mid August,... A-352,XXX...

My 28 engine 404,XXX doesn't have them. Tank date is 9-27-28.
