Early 1928 oil pan

Is it possible to change a oil pan out to a newer pan? I have a 1928 oil pan with the bottom clean out and it is in rough shape. I want to install a oil pan from a 1930 engine. Everything looks as if it will fit ok but just in case I am missing seeing something I thought I would ask.

I may be wrong I think the only major difference is the inside divider tray. I though that the opening for the oil pump was made bigger, because Henry made it so you could put a shield of the oil pump. Don't quote me on this.

You will have to add the spring and retainer to the bottom of the oil pump, then you're good to go.
