E - z steer

my advice is to stay as far away from E-Z steer as you can get. i meet a guy with a `32 roadster that bought one of those things for his car, the sector shaft had a single 1/8" key holding the pitman arm in position!

I'm interested also. I contacted them sometime back and found them very knowlegable. I like the cast iron F1 & F100 boxes but they say their cast aluminum box is equally strong - not sure I like the appearance but painted black would make it less noticable. I would like to hear from anyone using the box and how hard the install - does motor need to be removed? etc.

model a onley 1-408-930-4502 makes a f100 converson that fits like a glove you can use your org colum & light switch & horn rod call dave & tell him richard from n.y sent you once you install it it taks a real knownable person to see the mod & it steers like a new car & is fitted with all orignal ford parts. no core needed. dave is a real gentelman.

If this is true, no taper, no splines and only a 1/8" key clocking the pitman arm in position----thats scary!!!
What holds or keeps the pitman arm on the sector shaft?
