e brake springs

could someone explain where the springs go on the e brake band. i assume from the triangle tab w/ the hole to the carrier somewhere? any photos would be a great help!

Does this help? Lube the moving parts, even though this picture shows everything dry. Also the brake shoe ends should be tapered, which this picture doesn't show.

Tom, I've never heard it mentioned, but is there any benefit in also chamfering an angle on the e-brake linings?

It makes the drum easier to slip on since the ends past the last rivets like to stick out a little bit.
