no bargain when there is a reserve set.............

This was a movie car. Used in the movie, "Live by Night". Very good movie. I'd watch it again. Jeff

Bidding has just started on a 7 day auction. There is an unknown reserve. Why would you think it "may end up being a bargain"?

[Synchro909]

This car is relisted after failing to reach reserve.

The "shell" of a car reached $2,325.00 for the last auction - reserve not reached. A lot of problems to fix.

no bargain when there is a reserve set.............

Wrong !
When there is no reserve everyone thinks day can do a good deal, and they are bidding against each other !
This is only good for the seller.
I speak out of experience (as a seller).

I wonder how they did that "rust coating" ?
This is very well done, very realistic.

A talented painter can paint that rust.
Ever see a f/glass hot rod that's been "patinaded"??

I believe having the car in this movie lost him some money. More work for the buyer.

A lot of work and expense to restore it. If it were mine, I'd what I had to to get it on the road without worrying too much about the appearance.
