E.A. Laboratories horn

Just purchased a Model A horn marked E. A. Laboratories, Brooklyn, NY Model F M. Supposedly this horn was used on early 1928 AR models. I see parts for Stewart Warner, Sparton, and Ames - nothing for E. A. Laboratories. Need a screen and horn bracket. Will Sparton parts work? Thanks, BW

the screan and the bracket will interchange with all of those brands....the back cover won't if you have an early hump back..

The 'Model F' horn by E.A. Laboratories was used beyond 1928. The early ones in '28 had a different cover with a raised area in middle where embossed wording is. After this, cover has slightly depressed centre with writing. My '29 has this one, been on car since new for sure as I've had it a long time, since the '60's. I have seen these horns also on later cars here. I think rarest horn is GIM [ logo letters stacked on themselves] one of which I once had & foolishly sold.

I have a EA horn model F. I'm planning on using it on my 27 Buick, about same size as a Buick horn. has anyone worked on one of these. motor turns fine but part that vibrates needs some work. Thanks for any Help.

Did anyone ever get any information on EA Laboratory horns? I bought one at a swap meet. It doen not work but I would like to have it rebuilt.

Jim Diehl just rebuilt an EA horn for me--I am quite pleased with what he did and recommend him for any Model A horn. His ad is in (each?) issue of the Restorer.
