drop suspension

I just finished doing that to my 48 F1. I bought a 3inch dropped axel and installed that in the front. One problem I'm having is the shock is in the way of the steering. I'm thinking that I can get a smaller diameter shock and that should solve that problem. On the rear I remove 5 of the 10 leave springs, which was pretty easy. You could also do that to the front if you didn't want to purchase a dropped axel.
 
Yes, remove every other leaf. The leaves that remain have a piece the runs up to keep the springs in line with one another and there is a bolt that holds it in place.
