Driving in the rain

If you drive your old car it's bound to get wet at one time or another.

I think I've figured out why the fear of water. It's because of the movie of the same vintage as some flatheads about a wicked witch that a teenage girl threw water on who then melted into the floor screaming "I'm melting! I'm melting!" (Wizard of Oz 1939) Is that what everyone's afraid of? I don''t see that as a problem . . . unless your car is painted BLACK!

I leave the original wiper motor on it and just make sure it is in good shape. IF you live in most of the country and drive it in the summer you are going to eventually get rained on. I don't drive em real fast or on the interstate so original is fine. I don't even think about it rusting with the rain, I don't drive mine much during winter though. salt is bad for it.
