Driving Habits For Safety

Around here we can't just drive around with flashing or strobing lights.We have to be using them for a specific purpose.Plowing,emergency towing,working on the roadside,etc.I have a state issued permit to have yellow lights flashing while on the road with my plow truck.I cannot display a flashing clear light for any reason on the rear.I can display a solid white on the rear,but only for a specific use,(backup light).I'll look in my plow truck.I have a lot of printouts citing the RSA's about the can and cannot do's for lighting.I have papers in there dating back 30 years.The law has always been very helpful in giving me papers backing up what they were telling me.
 
A strobe light at the top of the mast of a sail boat is also illegal. But it helps from getting run over by freighters. Getting on the radio with a freighter and asking if they see my boat lights, the answer was no. It changed to yes when I turned on the strobe.
