Driveshaft for my 52 transmission?

I have a 1953 Flathead Ford engine with a 1952 Mercury 3 speed transmisson and I need to see which drive shaft I will need to get from this trans to a 1948 Ford Truck F100 rear end. Is there a perticular drive shaft to get or does it make a difference. Here is a picture of the trans and the rear end.

Thanks
Frenchy

When the drivetrain is in place you will be able to measure how much shorter the '48 driveshaft needs to be and get it done by your friendly local driveshaft specialist. That's a '49 '51 Ford bell housing and trans, if it is 12.5 " from trans face to center of mount bolts, it's a '51. ..B.
