I need to install the center bearing on the driveshaft on my 1939 Ford.I understand that they are often missing.Anyone use the one from Florida that isforced into the tube? How well does it work? How easy to install?

JK,
I haven't used Skips center bearing personally but know 2
who have....like everything he (and George Mitchell) are involved
with the results are superior.

I had junk torgue tube, so I cut it up and looked at the center bearing, it is a roller bearing covered in a rubber sleeve which has been forced into the center section of the torque tube--just what Skip has. Wished I had know about his bearings before buying a NOS torgue tube for my wagon. The bearing looks like the center support bearing for a two piece drive shaft-like the one in my 41 3/4 ton truck
