What does #3 driver mean? I see it for cars for sale.

Possibly an indication of the shape the car is in? A #1 driver would be excellent. #2 good. #3 fair.

I think number 1, 2, etc refers to classic car condition, not neccesarily if it's a "driver" or not. There are many interpretations of the condition guide, but this link gives one example.

when i think of #3 driver i think of the ratings in old cars price guide....which states #3 rating as "very good" completely operable original or older restoration showing wear.....this is a 20 footer and not perfect!....completely operable though!!.....happy new yr gump
