Drive your Model A on New Year's Day!

I'm jealous! It's currently 17 degrees above zero here in Wisconsin and the roads are covered with salt, so I will pass on the inaugural first Model A ride for 2026. Happy motoring in warm and sunny California!

Its cold and snowy here in MA with wind chills in the single digits to say nothing of salt covered roads. My first Model "A" ride of 2026 will have to wait.

A head of you, drove last week before the snow.

Car ran very well, but the shocks weren't happy. Not recommending concrete slab roads.

Just got back from a short drive. 40's and sunny here and it was good with a jacket and stocking cap. The speedster is a bit "airy":) but much fun! Probably do it again before the sun gets low.

Maybe next weekend - the rain should be over by then.
It is fair weather SoCal and I don't even have a windshield wiper.........

Just warmed up to 20 degrees here, with an inch of snow last night.Salt doesn't work below 20 degrees,so they use sand with some calcium chloride mixed in.That stuff makes a strong brine. It's usually May when the roads are washed clean.

I went out on New Year’s Eve for about 10 miles. Here in SE Pennsylvania it was 27 degrees today and it snowed about an inch to start the new year. Great tradition to take the car out and exercise it a bit. I think I will keep that one going in the future!

Took Uncle Buck out for a ride to celebrate his 100th birthday and New Years. Was a little damp, but a beautiful day. Will take the A for a drive tomorrow.

Cold but not freezing weather here in North Carolina on New Years day. I took my Model A to the Smokehouse restaurant for dinner. My two visitors, step daughter and her husband, really enjoyed it. They are driving across the country from San Diego to Annapolis in their modern car. The heater in my Model A, which runs off the engine coolant, works great.

I organized a tour through the country of central North Carolina. The temperature was 28 degrees at the start of the tour. The temperature raised to almost 60 degrees and we completed the tour with 150 mile trip. The sun was out the whole time. A great day to own a model A! A tradition we have tried to do annually.
