Dot 5 brake fluid removal

Anyone have a recomendation for removing Dot 5 brake fluid to replace it with Dot3? What can I use to flush out the Dot 5 so I can put in Dot 3. I've read they are not compatable and I don't want to end up with goo.Thanks.

Dot 5 is superior to dot 3. Why do you want to change back? I suppose you could flush the system with silicone and grease remover and a final flush with denatured alcohol.

When you change from Dot 3 to Dot 5 you flush out the system with the Dot 5 fluid and replace the rubber cup washers in all the cylinders, I would say the safest way to replace the Dot 5 would be do the same. Why change to Dot 3? Dot 5 is far superior.
