Door Sill Plate Location

Yes, even the original location has been moved.

Does anyone know the correct location?

Is it at the edge of the door opening or a quarter plus inch in? There are side by side holes on my floor….unbelievable but true.

Would someone please take a look at their Driver, Passenger location and respond?

OK OK, I'll just do it meself. Appears to be just over a half of an inch.

What happened? Were the rocker panels replaced and they didn't install the sill plates?

Don't know if the rockers were replaced or not, but, I do notice the distinct horizontal line is different from one side to the other...

It's just the scuff plate was mounted in two different locations on the Driver and Passenger side, there are duplicate holes side by side separated by about a half inch.
The installer(s) of the scuff plates--- one liked it on the edge of the body and the other in the original location....so, I was not positive which location was correct until I reviewed the Body Book.
I have been installing original missing parts..aligning panels...etc. The dash now has all matching knobs with the chrome dome for instance.

Easy to tell if the rockers have been replaced. Look at the bottom, stock there is a series of "drain" divots, the replacement aftermarket rockers do not have them.
