I have a '46 Ford deluxe that I'm looking to add a door popper assembly to. Does anyone have suggestions as to the location of mounting the solenoids in relation to the door latch assembly? The kit I have has 40 lbs. pull for each solenoid.
Yeah, for a ’46 Deluxe I’d stick the solenoids as close as I could get to the latch so those 40-pounders can pull straight and hard. Just watch the window tracks and any wiring in there.
