Door Lock

I have a 52 2dr sedan customline and every time I close the passenger door it locks. I have to either pull up the knob or use the key to open it. I haven't taken anything apart yet just wanted to get some ideas first. Thanks....

Interesting, Thats the same thing I have going on with my 41 pickup. I'm told it's caused by a broken spring in the latch . However I doubt your latch is the same as mine so it may be something else that's wrong. Tim

Ya Tim, this car is new to me. I'm learning as I go. I'll have to pull the door skin off and see if I can figure anything out.
