Door glass rattle 35 pickup

What can be done to stop the door glass from rattling when the window is down? I have put new felt channels in both front and back tracks. There is new door glass bumpers on the garnish mouldings. One door rattles in the down position and the other door is just as tight as can be. I have crimped the felt channels for a tighter slide but the does not work. Has any one used the felt cat whiskers, that the glass rides against at the bottom of the window opening for 40/41 pickup on a 35? Thanks for any input. Chet/MA.

Chet - Check to make sure the arm on the window winder isn't bowed and hitting the glass in the down position. theBoB

Do you have the window channel (the "U" shaped part that the glass sits in) with the flattened ends that extend into the felt channel, front and rear? These hold the glass steady on the bottom. I have found that this makes a big difference with the window rattle. If you have the Hardware and Trimming book, look on page 30 at part number 77-811820. Also, do you have the correct felt " run" down in the door and around the window opening? Some aftermarket stuff just will not do the job. The Felt "run" holders down in the door must be a good fit for the "run" and not "sprung".

I Finally ordered the hardware & trimming book and hope it helps Identify lots of questions, for the 35 p/u I hope to complete over the winter. Suggestions for good felt runs, channels and bumpers (full kit) would be much appreciated.
