Looking for advice from those who have been in this situation before me.
30-31 Roadster. Brookville body. Passengers side door did not shut well. The latch was higher than the striker. I tried to adjust the striker but not enough movement to get it to line up.
I removed a shim from the cowl to tip the door down and that helped the striker alignment but also created a situation where the back of the door near the bottom started hitting the quarter panel.
If I put the shim back in ,it eases that gap but latch does not line up with the striker very well.
Should I start to look at the shims at the front of the quarter if so add or subtract ??
BTW drivers door shuts well. Any advice shimming a body appreciated.
