Does water wetter help

I'm running straight water in my 35 V8. Will one bottle of water wetter help with corrosion and the seals in the water pumps. I’ve try a mixture of antifreeze but it seems to run hotter with antifreeze.
 
60/40 (60% distilled watter/ 40% antifreez) with watter wetter is the best you can do....works in my 53' Merc
 
In summer, water wetter and water does the best in my flatties. Amsoil has a new one that has heavy duty rust prohibiter/anti corrosives in it. I tried a antifreeze mix first and was still running two close to 200 for my liking.
 
Water wetter is a great product,i have used it for years in my flathead and never had a problem.I have an aluminum rad and i run 50 8BA in san diego,i use only distilled water and two bottles of water wetter,my temps are perfect and i have never overheated,with that said i have a clean block and my flathead is timed right.I never run anti freeze for two reasons.1.i live in so cal and 2. antifreeze traps heat hence the name.This product also has the anti corrosive elements in it and lubricates water pumps.i love it and have never looked back
