DOES ANY ONE KNOW HOW TO CONTACT LES ANDREWS

I want to ask him about welding a 29 model a tank in his Red book its says DO NOT EVER WELD A MODEL A TANK ( on the first page about removing the tank) Many people have told me that yes you can weld it and some have said no you can not. I want to know if any one has ever welded a model a tank and what has happened? In Les Andrews Book It says that if you weld it the tank will develop hair line cracks in it. Please help Thanks

You're probably better off talking to "Brent in 10 ah C" (or some variation of that). He's welded them before with great success. I'm sure Les is stating that to some degree due to liability, for the one guy who won't evacuate the fumes from the tank and ask why it blew up.
 
Brent has i belive has pictures of a tank that was cut apart . Then rewelded togethere . He has them posted either on his web page or he posted them here!
