Do I look that old?

Mine isn't exactly car related but 7 years ago when I was about 23yrs old , I had a client tell me I must have been graduating high school when he was shipping out for Vietnam. He wasn't too bright of a guy to begin with so I didn't get too bothered about how I must of looked 30 years older to him.
 
Obviously on many occasions the mouth kicks in to gear before thr brain. Best solution is to grin and ignore it. Let it be your smile for the day.

Think about the American populace in general. Only 36% of them even exercise their right to vote, only 40% of them know who controls the Senate and who controls the House. And ask the typical High School graduate of 2014 to show you Afghanistan on the map or tell you who rules Saudi Arabia and you see mouths so wide open that it makes you wish you could shove a torpedo into it.

I don't get the questions you ask with my A, but I get it once in a while when riding my 1925 T. My response is always the same: "I got it from my dad when I graduated from college."

Einstein tells us that time is relative. And it is. For example:

Back in the 60s when I was in High School I met a girl who was the same age as I was, 16. I still know her but nowadays she is 8 years younger than I am.
 
All the dumb things I did as a youngster are now just weird fun stories told at family get togethers, that no one believes but me.
