Do I Have all I need ?? 12 volt list

I was told I can use the Stock Gen....
head light bulbs
tail light bulbs...
12 volt dist condencer...
12 volt coil....
and can use the stock starter.....
and change the volt meter...
what about the key switch ????????

Change all bulbs to 12v, the dist condenser is ok and does not to be changed,
use a resistor in series with coil to lower volts so coil is can be used as is, also a resistor in series with horn. The gen can be used but set the output for 8 amp max, I needed more amps so went with an altenator. Starter can be used as is but use it in short bursts only. If the meter is original it is an ammeter not a volt meter and
can be used as is. Key switch is ok as is. If you are changing to a neg ground you will
need to polerize the gen and and swap the wires on back of ammeter
