Fella in town gave me this little tool. Anyone know what brand it is and where I can find instructions?

That is a Tasco timing device. I was using one tonight. Only works with the 32-41 Distributors. The instructions are on the bottom. Adjust the timing to where the light goes out when it hits a number 8 line and the points when set properly should allow the light to come back one when between the two smaller lines.

PS I see you live near me feel free to stop by and I will show you in person how they work.

I use a power converter set to 5.5 volts. A 6 volt lantern battery would work just as well. Hook the wire coming from the light bulb to either the + or - doesn't matter and hook a lead up from the opposite, to the coil contact of the points/breaker plate.
