Been driving my 35 pickup daily. The points started arcing so I filed and reset the gap and timing also installed a 12 volt condenser. After another 1000 miles the truck is running a little weak again. So I picked up a core from ebay thinking a spare would be nice. took it apart and saw the shaft riding in the front bushing gouged and the bushing looks gouged also. this is my first venture into the distributor and didn't think this good. (maybe the 15 grit oil) The block is a 40 and believe the dis. 78-12127, it has 2 bolt coil. It's a 12 volt system 12 volt resister,12 volt coil, Any comets or advice ??? Thanks Dave
