Distributor ID?

Hoping someone has seen a similar distributor to this? Appears to have a cable mechanical advance. Pre-1942 based on 3-bolt timing cover mounting holes. All aluminum. From my research it looks somewhat like a cross between a Kong and an early Eddie Meyer? Have heard there was a late Eddie Meyer but still trying to locate a picture. Has a Ducoil cap. Could this be a Spalding? A one-off? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Does the cap actually have "Ducoil" if so it may be a W&H, they used that term on their distributors, although I have not seen one before.

On a message board, a couple of guys responded that it is a pre-war Earl Evans distributor.
