My battery ran down so I had to charge it, It is a 6volt, now my amp gage showes discharge all the time. When I turn my lights on it goes to the + side a bit. Can I get some help plesae, Thanks

Assuming;

Your amp meter was working correctly
Your did not swap the wires on the amp meter
You did not remove any wires on the battery

The fact that your amp gauge reads a charge when your headlights are on tells us that the voltage is reversed from before. Since no wires were removed the battery has to be reversed charged.

I got it fixed I had charged it backwards. I drained it and charged it the right way, it works fine now! Thanks to you all.
