disc/drum conversion

My thanks to all who have followed this "soap opera".
I am not a newbie, since I have been building cars for over 50 years.
I consider the brake upgrade only a slight modification.
I have also tried searches over on the HAMB. More confusion than help.
It is more difficult to navigate the site. Instructions to start a thread did not match up.
I installed the new MC, but with the same result - no pedal pressure.
Randy, I will try the plugs next.
I suspect that all of this is due to the MC being lower than the wheel cylinders.
to be continued...

Have you considered installing 'Speed bleeders' as I suggested in m previous post#7 ?? My master is also lower than the bleed ports.

Yes thank you. I am going to install them as a matter of convienience.
To update - I now have pressure to all cylinders.
I did the bench bleed. Installed plugs and verified MC pressure.
Pre-loaded all lines with a hand pump from prop valve thru residual valves to the wheel cylinders. Connected all, and connected pressure plate on MC. Applied pressure and checked for leaks. One leak at rear residual valve fitting, one at rear cyl., and one at front caliper. Corrected all leaks and now have brakes.
Pressure bleeding may not be needed, but a mechanic friend that suggested it, said that it also is good to test for leaks.
Again, my thanks to all. I hope this helps the next guy that tries this.

What happened? I am now just a "member"?
At my age, I was enjoying being a "junior member".
