Diode in after market cutout?

Taking-apart a "cheapie" cutout, in and of itself, would tend-not to make one sound dumb. The "dumb" part may come into play if one had no idea how to re-assemble to previous (working) condition. Sometimes, a gameplan is priceless. DD
 
"Dumb" is not politically correct to describe one that is unable to speak. Now it is mute or vocally impaired.

Are looking to install a diode in that repop cutout ? Some repop cutouts are
so cheesy they are difficult to convert to a diode. Genuine script c/o's convert quite
easily, just follow the instructions.
