Dimension on Bob Drake Windshield Seal

Does anyone have a Bob Drake windshield seal for a '37 Ford that can give me the dimensions of the leg that pushes into the windshield frame? The length I'm looking for is the the leg with the hook on it, between the tip of the hook and the rubber seal that pushes up against the frame. I have a Dennis Carpenter one, but the leg on that one is too short. I can't find anyone that has a Bob Drake one in stock, including Bob Drake. Thanks, Bill

Call C&G (800/266-0470). In their catalog they show several versions depending on the body style of your car. Most of the seals we ordered from Drake came in Carpenter wrapping, anyway.

From the body of the seal to the bottom of the hooked piece is 13/32".
From the body to the top of the hook is 7/32". Best I can measure

Thanks '40 coupe. That's exactly what I was looking for. Now I just have to find one. I've tried all the regular suppliers including C&G, Old Ford Parts, Drake, Carpenter, The Old Car Centre and many others.

I would think the dimension from the body of the seal to the lip on the hook would be the critical part. A clean channel in the frame is critical for a good fit. I have a Carpenter seal in my car and it fits good, but I haven't compared the length of the hooked leg.

On the one I have, the slot that should be behind the folded lip on the frame, projects out from the frame its whole depth.
