Differences in body styles

All you masters of the Model A;

Has anyone put in one simple place or chart, the different body styles, and differences between standard and deluxe of the same style. Inside and out.

I could be wrong here, but perhaps Mike is looking for a spreadsheet sort of chart that takes "ALL" the differences "inside and out" from the numerous resources, and combines the data in one easy to read chart. Instead having to look in the many different books and pages.
Personally, I think it's a great idea and I hope Mike gets started on this right away and shares it with all of us. :D

The terms deluxe and standard in my opinion are often confused and misused today from their original designations from the period. Passenger cars first. Ford did not use the term "deluxe" until 1930 with the release of the upgraded coupes, roadsters and so designated two door phaeton. In 1931, a tudor was also available as a deluxe model. Contrary to some thinking, cabriolets, Victorias, town sedans and the 400-A were in effect "standard" built cars offered in the colors and trims so listed for them.

As far as I know, "deluxe" was only applied in 1928-29 to the delivery 130-A in the commercial line. Deluxe was applied to the 1930/31 delivery, 1931 pick-up with the special box and a couple of 1931 AA models (delivery, police patrol).

Town cars, tc deliveries, service cars, etc were also stand alones and not termed "deluxe" models.

The previous postings provide excellent references and the Judging Standards will provide info on colors and trims for these models and also refer to Section 16, accessories, available for all vehicles.
