Differences:1932 & 1933 truck

No, the '32 uses the '32 106" WB Deuce frame and
the '33/'34's use a 112" WB frame. Same frames as the passenger cars.
Big truck are the same frame for '32-'34 I believe

Which year had a fuel filler in the back outside of box?I may have found myself a box for my 32'.Or do they fit all three yrs?

No...same overall dimensions, but the big difference is that the fender arch on '33-4 is right around 6" farther back than '32. Ford used the new wheelbase to get a lot more of the loadspace forward.
The '32-34 pickups manage to look very much the same, but when you get right down to it almost every part is actually different!

Hmm,something to think about. This is the only box I've ever managed to find. This one won't be getting any fenders for a long time.It might have to do for now,if I can get it.
Regardless,I would like to save it.He has plans of cutting it up three different directions for a mish mashed Rat truck. It's a shame because it has very little rust and very few dints.
Thanks Bruce.

A common hotrod '32 mod is shortening the bed, since '32's do have a LOT of overhang.
Think about that...what if you shortened the FRONT of the '33 box to '32 specs...
Fenders are not a direct crossover, but that's probably not a very large problem to overcome...now I've done it, we're both gonna get kicked off of the board!

yes cutting up nice ol Henry steel may get you kicked off of here!??
on the other hand a 32 pickup has WAY TOO MUCH box overhang off the back for me!

Ha Ha... Some one told me once on another site. Some much be sacrificed to save others!
This truck will resemble more of a stocker than anything when done I hope.Flatty powered (SHhh 4x2 edel headed don't tell),henry frame and an almost perfect, minus a little rust on the drivers door and one torch welded crack-vg cab(way to good to cut up).Someday...
