difference in 46/48 coupe/sedan decklid latch

My 46 convert came without a decklid latch. Is there any difference between a sedan latch and a coupe/convertable ? I can get a sedan latch but not sure it is the same. Is the striker on the truck floor also the same or different ? thanks for the help

Yes there is a difference between the sedan latch and convertable latch. The convertable uses p/n 11A 7243200 which is a rotory bolt type latch. The striker is also different. The convertable uses p/n 11A 7243252. The coupe is same as convertable. Hope this helps.
