Difference between 35 and 37 pickup beds

Here's my '36 PU bed, or is it a '37? Who knows, but it is a good one with original steel floor!

Its the longer 37 bed based on the location of the filler neck.
Looks like it has the 35/36 tailgate on it.
But you're right, that sure is a nice one!

From your pictures, your bed appears to be 37. This is from just eyeballing the distance between the filler neck hole to the back end of the bed. That space measures approx. 4' on 37. ALL OF THE EXTRA LENGTH IN THE 37 BED (4") IS TO THE REAR OF THE FRAME,
