Difference between 28-9 and 30-1 seat cushions?

Are there any differnces in 28-29 and 30-31 coupe seat cushions? I had a post up for awhile looking for original coupe seat covers and a fellow barner had some. He sent them to me and they appear to be too small for my 29 seat cushions. I have two layers of fabric/one is vinyl on my current seat cushions. I really don't want to pay for them if they are for a 30-31 and they will never fit my 29. Any thoughts????

I think there is about 102 differant seats frames used on Model A,s I do know 30 roadster & phaeton front bases are the same & thats about it. Can you unpick the stiching & re sew to make it fit, Or do you have too much padding ?

My coupe is a 29, and these seat cushions are original and I really don't want to re-stitch. Overall all they appear too narrow, just wondering if it is all the crap on my seats making them look wider?

Sounds like you're trying to put a L t-shirt over an XL and an XXL sahirt. Why not try removing at least one layer. Just trying to help.

Hey Don, do you know if a 30-31 seat frame is narrower than a 28-29 frame? I was planning on removing all the fabric on mine but I don't want to do it if I know the old covers won't fit.

Talked to the guy who had them and he is going to verify what year coupe they came from. I have a feeling they were out of a 30-31 and won't fit. We'll see.
