Dick Spadaro

I was at the VAE meet at Stowe Vt 1985 at a motel. I was driving my 48 woodie. It's after dark. I hear voices outside the room. You know the uneasy feeling that overcomes you in a strange place after dark when your car is more or less unguarded. So I pulled on my sneakers and went out to investigate/confront the pair who were eyeing the wheels on my car. Turns out it was Dick and a buddy who had just arrived. They were trying to figure out how I had installed original Ford hubcaps on a GM rally rim. I breathed a sigh of relief.... RIP Dick....Bill

A real class guy. Met him several times. Kept me away from a whole lot of stupid i thought of. O guess all those car guys in heaven needed help with thier rides

My Condolences -- Dick supplied me with parts and good advice for My 40 Ford PU & My 36 Cabriolet over the years. I first met him a Rhinebeck NY in 1987.

Quite a few parts in my 34 pu came from Dick, he was always willing
to help with any problem ,I am proud to call him my friend.

Living in the area I was at Dicks place many times over the last 25 years. No matter how busy he was he always took time to chat or to help with a problem. The last time I saw Dick was 2 weeks before he passed on, very sad seeing him in the nursing home. RIP Dick,
